Chiropractic
At Serene Chiropractic in Worcester, MA, we provide gentle prenatal chiropractic care to support pelvic balance, improve comfort, and help prepare your body for birth.
Moms have a lot of questions during pregnancy
“Should my lower back and hips hurt this much?”
“Is it normal to feel this much pressure in my pelvis?”
“How can I get more comfortable while I sleep?”
These are common questions, and you don’t have to figure them out on your own. Our office is a place where you can get clear answers, understand what’s happening in your body, and feel confident in how you’re moving through your pregnancy.
How can we help?
As your body changes, it can undergo stress caused by shifts to your center of gravity and the movement of your organs to accommodate a growing baby. Shifts in your hormones also relax your joints causing swelling and pressure. Care during this time is focused on supporting how your body adapts to these changes. Dr. Serena is specialty trained in prenatal techniques, including the Webster Technique, and has spent years working with pregnant patients.
Our focus during your appointment
01
Relief
Appointments involve gentle, specific adjustments to help relieve common pregnancy-related discomforts like lower back pain, pelvic pressure, and tension through the hips. As your body changes, it’s easy to develop compensations that place added stress on these areas. Adjustments are used to help reduce that strain and improve how your body moves and feels.
02
Guidance
We also act as another set of eyes throughout your pregnancy, helping you stay on track with habits that support how your body is adapting. This includes guidance around movement, positioning, daily routines, and general awareness of factors like nutrition that can influence how you feel day to day.
